Calm down; robots won't take every job

Here's a story from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis about whether all of our jobs will soon be performed by robots.

The article by Scott A. Wolla notes that we've had anxiety about technology for centuries. And despite massive technological changes, the world still needs humans to do things.

"Productivity-enhancing technology has changed the economy in dramatic ways over the past two centuries, and it has not made human labor obsolete," the article concludes.

So stop worrying, and if you think your job or field is ripe for a robotic takeover, get the training and education to do something else.
