Another day, another homicide (or two) in Tim Keller's Burque.
This time APD Homicide Unit was called to Singing Arrow Park when a dead body was discovered. APD hasn’t provided any other details, but they are calling it a homicide. That makes 37 for the year.
Then, just hours later, APD was called to the 500 block of Utah SE for another homicide. That makes 38.
Several of readers have asked why news outlets (and APD) are saying we are at 32 homicides, while APQREPORT is saying the number is 38. The reason for the difference is APD is not including the 4 homicides that APD ruled justified and they are not reporting the two children who died because of the actions of their drunk mothers. Those two kids deaths meet the definition of homicide, by not counting them APD and the mainstream media diminishes their lives. ABQREPORT will count them. It’s 38.
