Early Mayoral Voting Starts Today
Early voting starts at 9 a.m. today for the mayoral runoff election. The 12 early voting locations will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., so there's no excuse to not vote.
The two candidates are State Auditor Tim Keller and City Councilor Dan Lewis.
Both made the runoff because no candidate got more than 50 percent of the vote in the Oct. 3 general election. Keller got 39 percent of that vote, while Lewis got 23 percent.
Both candidates have focused on crime as the city's main issue, and both have said they will fire Albuquerque Police Chief Gorden Eden.
